The United Democratic Party and the People’s Democratic Front have decided on a common candidate for Ranikor by-poll.

UDP’s Pius Marwein has been named as the common candidate. The decision to field Marwein as the common candidate taken at the coordination committee meet at the residence of UDP chief Donkupar Roy this evening.

Talking to media persons, UDP spokesperson Jemino Mawthoh said Marwein has been zeroed down as the common candidate folowing due consultation with all leaders.
